A person should be 21 years or older to rent a snowmobile. Safety certification is required by law for anyone born after January 1, 1985. Security deposits made easy with your credit card.

Reservations
- $1000.00 security deposit per sled is required on either a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover credit card only
- Helmets with shields are available for $20.00 per day
- Electric Shields - $75.00 per weekend
- Suits are available for $30.00 per day
- No credits for no shows, early returns, or late starts
- Renter is responsible for all the damage caused to rented equipment
- One-time gas and oil charge - $50.00 – premium gas and synthetic oil
- Monday through Thursday rates and package deals do not apply during Christmas / New Year and holidays
- If no snow, per Minocqua Sport Rentals determination, your full deposit will be refunded

You don’t need to shell out a lot of cash to get the gear you need to snowmobile. You will easily find everything you need to get out and stay safe on the trail - all at an affordable daily rental rate with us, conveniently located on the trail and very close to hotels.
Daily rentals:
- Snowmobile suits, 1 piece - $20.00
- Snowmobile suits, 2 piece - $30.00
- Snowmobile helmet - $20.00
- Snowmobile covers - $20.00
- Boots - $7.00
- Gloves - $6.00
- Your deposit is fully refundable up to seven days before your reservation, less a $20.00 administration fee, plus tax
- There is no refund if you cancel within the seven days before your reservation start date - the charge will be $100.00, plus tax
- For cancellations within 24 hours, you will be charged a full-day rental, plus tax
- A $1,000.00 credit card security deposit per snowmobile is required
- Renter is responsible for any damage done to the snowmobile and down-time (lost revenue if repairs cannot be completed prior to the next rental date).

Any person who is at least 12 years old and who is born on or after January 1, 1985, is required to possess a valid Snowmobile Safety Certificate to operate a snowmobile on public trails, land, or frozen waters. You must carry the certificate while riding, and you must display it to a law enforcement officer when requested. Minimum rental age is 21 years old.
All snowmobilers under age 16 must obtain certification in a classroom certification course. Internet certification is only available to persons 16 years of age and up.
A Snowmobile Safety Certificate can be obtained by taking a DNR Sponsored Snowmobile Safety Course. Local courses are typically offered in the late fall and early winter by volunteer instructors. Visit dnr.wi.gov and search "snowmobile classes" to find upcoming classes in your area. Wisconson honors certificate from all other state and provincial sponsored courses.
