  • High-end St Croix Rods which truly are the best on earth locally handcrafted in Park Falls, WI.
  • The boat has a custom canopy/enclosure to get out of the elements when needed.
  • Light tackle will be the preferred method for fishing.
  • Target Species
  • Walleye, crappies, smallmouth bass, and muskies can be targeted depending on the time of year.
  • Spring - crappie and walleye are most active from spring into early summer.
  • Mid-summer - once mid-summer hits, smallmouth and muskies are generally more cooperative.
  • Fall - generally all species will cooperate.
  • The lake is clear in the Minocqua area making it difficult to catch walleyes during the day as they generally feed during low light hours so it is important to get out in the low light times. We recommend starting as early as possible.
  • Catch and Release is encouraged, although there is nothing wrong and it is encouraged to keep enough for a meal through selective harvest. Talk to your guide on how best to prepare your meal as they are great cooks as well.
  • Guides
  • Your guides have been fishing since they were 4 years old with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
  • Your guides have learned from some of the best fishermen on the planet and have fished in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, and Michigan and would jump at the opportunity to fish in Canada or Lake Superior.
  • Your guides are very good at understanding and using electronics to target fish. Your guides will use their electronics to put you on fish and take the time to show how they identify fish and get on an active bite. Your guides all grew up in the Minocqua area and are students at the local university during the school year.
  • Your guides are the next generation of fishermen and are not set in their ways. They understand that every day and every hour is different and adapt to what the fish mode is. They will use their many years of local knowledge but are not afraid to try new things to get fish to bite which sets these guides apart.
  • Your guides are fun to be around and will provide a great environment for all.
